About

This Montgomery institution slow-smokes meat over hardwood in the traditional Alabama style, turning out ribs and pulled pork with the kind of caramelized bark that only comes from patience and proper technique. The no-frills dining room and counter service reflect a place built on the food itself, not ambiance, where regulars queue up for the same reason people have for years—consistently excellent barbecue that respects the craft.
